The pearl oyster mushroom (also known as the white oyster) has a unique pearl white color with large meaty caps! The thick almost meat like caps make them a great meat substitute, and has a subtle buttery yet earthy flavor. Their versatility makes them an easy addition to your breakfast omelette or simply sauteed in your favorite dish and you will not be disappointed!

The Blue Oyster Mushroom “pleurotus ostreatus” is an incredibly beautiful mushroom with deep dark hues of blues and grey, with some varieties having unique striations on the caps. The thick meaty caps on these mushrooms make them extremely versatile in the kitchen, and can blend well with many different genres of food! With its unique woody, earthy, almost nutty flavor makes it easy to toss them in your favorite soup, saute,or pasta! Pairs well with red meats and wines, so get creative and enjoy this beautiful and medicinal mushroom!

Lions mane mushrooms are extremely unique in appearance and flavor. Its cottony cloud-like structure makes them a sight for sore eyes, accompanied by a wildly unique flavor profile. Some notable flavors from lion's mane could be described as seafood-like, lobster-esque, maybe even sweet.

Pholiota adiposa or the “Chestnut” mushroom has a beautiful brown cap with soft white speckles making it very unique in appearance. It is not as common as oyster mushrooms or a shiitake but its unique texture and flavor makes it a culinary delight. Even after being cooked down or sauteed it still has a soft texture that's somewhat crunchy making it a great mushroom for cream sauces and toppings on a side dish or salad!

The King oyster mushroom also known as the “trumpet” mushroom is a super popular culinary variety cultivated all over the world! It is one of the parent mushrooms for the Black Pearl King Oyster hybrid. Its thick meaty stems are great for slicing and roasting. The most common description regarding its flavor profile would be umami, a savory almost meat-like taste.

Reishi mushrooms have been used medicinally for centuries by many cultures around the world. Known for their medicinal benefits, Reishi mushrooms have been used in lots of extracts and teas. A truly bitter earthiness is often described when consuming this mushroom which is why it makes a great tea or pairs well when added to a cup of coffee!

This unique hybrid mushroom is amazing for many reasons! It has thick meaty caps but also has a thick meaty stem! The stem of most oyster mushroom varieties can be somewhat hard and chewy making it not highly sought after. However the dense stems of king oyster mushrooms are extremely sought after as they are very soft and meaty making the entire mushroom great for cooking! What is most exciting about this cultivated variety is the unique almost multi colored cap of this mushroom, breathtaking!
